Tommy Dreamer On Creating New Memories At The ECW Arena, Austin Aries Comments On Being A Multi-World Champion (Video)

House Of Hardcore

Tommy Dreamer recently spoke with Joe Mason for the Northeast Times while promoting tomorrow night’s House Of Hardcore event in Philadelphia; you can read a few excerpts below:

Dreamer comments on creating new memories at the 2300 Arena, tomorrow’s match that sees him team with Billy Gunn against Joey Mercury, Nick Aldis and Shane Douglas as their corner man:

“I wanted to create moments, I didn’t want to relive my ECW glory but I wanted to have memories. When I met Taz, we didn’t like each other, but we were both wrestling fans and we met on a common ground that we both remember Larry Zbyszko turning on Bruno Sammartino. That was a memorable moment we both remember from when we were kids.

“I’ve enjoyed this, except when they took a cheesegrater to my head. That wasn’t too much fun. But last time, when the Franchise Shane Douglas turned on me, the fans were so passionate. It was hairy for a while. (The fans) threw everything they could at us. I actually had to break character a little bit and tell the fans, I’ll be OK.”

AMBY

The following is the latest episode of A Music Blog, Yea? with Impact Wrestling World Champion Austin Aries as the special guest:

It came as a fairly sudden yet pleasant surprise to wrestling fans when professional wrestler Austin Aries recently became the new IMPACT World Heavyweight Champion! Dive into our conversation as we discuss his band, the positive side to leaving WWE, creating a novel, awful injuries, and life as a multi-world champion.
