  • RAW 25 was re-written approximately three hours ahead of showtime after the creative team found out that Jimmy Fallon could not arrive early enough for pre-tapes and segments with many of the WWE legends
    • The segments planned, including one with the RAW GMs, ultimately became introductions and waves to the crowd
  • The show was largely aimed at attracting more casual viewers which is why it started with Steve Austin and Vince McMahon
  • Enzo was scheduled to tag with Goldust but that match was scrapped after the rape allegations against him surfaced
  • Barrasso, like Fightful originally broke, also reports that WWE was blindsided by the Enzo allegations
  • One of the buzzed about topics backstage was that The Fox Entertainment group is interested in purchasing WWE
    • Vince McMahon has added no new expenses to WWE and that has fueled the speculation that he is thinking about running

UPDATE: WWE Sources indicate the development of Raw is an iterative process and any changes had nothing to do with Jimmy.
