Related: How Much Broadcast Time Did The Manhattan Center Get On RAW 25?
- RAW 25 was re-written approximately three hours ahead of showtime after the creative team found out that Jimmy Fallon could not arrive early enough for pre-tapes and segments with many of the WWE legends
- The segments planned, including one with the RAW GMs, ultimately became introductions and waves to the crowd
- The show was largely aimed at attracting more casual viewers which is why it started with Steve Austin and Vince McMahon
- Enzo was scheduled to tag with Goldust but that match was scrapped after the rape allegations against him surfaced
- Enzo’s planned spot went to Heath Slater who went through a table courtesy of The Dudley Boyz
- Barrasso, like Fightful originally broke, also reports that WWE was blindsided by the Enzo allegations
- One of the buzzed about topics backstage was that The Fox Entertainment group is interested in purchasing WWE
- Vince McMahon has added no new expenses to WWE and that has fueled the speculation that he is thinking about running
UPDATE: WWE Sources indicate the development of Raw is an iterative process and any changes had nothing to do with Jimmy.
