Mark Henry Picks The Eagles To Win The Super Bowl, Makes Surprising Royal Rumble Picks, Would He Rule Out A Return In The Future?

Mark Henry recently spoke with ABC 6 in Philadelphia while doing press for this weekend’s Royal Rumble event in Philadelphia.

Henry, a noted Cowboys fan, offered the following explanation as to why he was picking the Eagles over the New England Patriots to win next weekend’s Super Bowl:

“The Eagles are going to win. It’s just a known fact. As hard as it is to say, I have to go with Philly. Because they are in the NFC East and it proves the dominance of their division. The NFC East, those guys chew each other up all season long. If you can come out of the East, you’ve got a pretty good chance of winning.”

Before the Super Bowl, WWE’s Royal Rumble takes place in town, and Henry offered the following explanation as to why Jason Jordan and Bayley will win their respective Rumble matches:

“Those are the people I can say, there is a better probability they will win because they just work harder than everybody else.”

Henry said that while he won’t appear in the match Sunday, and recently shot down rumors that he was retired, he wouldn’t rule out a return down the line:

“I may pull a Brett Favre. Down the road, if my body feels right, or if some young punk feels they have too many words they can’t back up, I may step back.”
