WWE.com has a new article up taking a look at the recent social media jaw-jacking that has been taking place between The Street Profits‘ Montez Ford and new WWE NXT recruit Trevor Mann (aka Ricochet).
Of note, they take a look at a WWE NXT video (embedded below) that was just released featuring Montez doing reps of 495-pound sumo deadlifts which his tag-team partner Angelo Dawkins‘ calls, “King’s weight.” Ford responds by saying that a, “prince wouldn’t know anything about that.”
WWE.com refers to Ford’s comment as, “a thinly veiled reference to one of Mann’s past monikers before joining WWE.”
This could be an indication that Mann will be going by his real name in NXT instead of using popular independent pro wrestling moniker Ricochet. Until he officially debuts on the NXT roster anything is possible.
