On who he’d like to face at WrestleMania 34 if he enters and wins the Royal Rumble match:
“The Royal Rumble is always a fantastic event. I always have great memories from it. I haven’t been in the Royal Rumble match for three years now I think. Last year I was banned by Triple H, then I was hurt the year before. The year before that I was in a triple-threat match with Brock Lesnar and John Cena for the WWE championship. Again, the Royal Rumble is pretty awesome, so I’m hoping I can get in this year. The last time I was in there, I started No. 2 and lasted almost an hour. I want to be in there and be part of the chaos. It’s a blast.”
On his favorite rivalry so far in WWE:
“Honestly it goes back to “The Shield” and Dean Ambrose. He’s my most notable rival for sure. He and I had a lot of great matches together. It helped make both of us be main event guys. Also, John Cena and Randy Orton. Those were veterans I learned a lot from being in the ring with them. I was able to soak up their experience. There are so many guys, like Daniel Bryan and Kane. Even when we were in “The Shield” we would go up against “The Wyatt Family”. It was always a good time. WWE has so much top level talent that you can push yourself with.”
On his thoughts on the WWE Brand Split a year-and-a-half in:
“It’s great. Good competition between us and Smackdown never hurt anyone. I do miss my friends on the blue brand I don’t get to see all the time. It does make it a unique feeling when we do get to hang out at Survivor Series or Wrestlemania. It’s cool though. It helps all of us get more air time and build what we’re trying to do. It’s good for everyone.”
