WWE Reportedly Contacts Former Divas For Women’s Royal Rumble Appearance, Another Name Confirmed? *Possible Spoilers*

PWInsider.com is reporting WWE has reached out to Michelle McCool about a possible appearance in the inaugural Women’s Royal Rumble match in Philadelphia this year.

McCool is a former WWE Divas champion and last appeared in a wrestling capacity for the company in 2011 after losing a ‘loser leaves WWE’ match to former partner (and co-champion) Layla.

It was also stated that Molly Holly has been confirmed as another name confirmed for the upcoming Rumble match in Philadelphia. Holly (Nora Greenwald Benshoof) retired from full-time wrestling in 2005 and has made sporadic appearances on air since then. She now works as a coach at Ken Anderson and Shawn Daivari’s The Academy School of Professional Wrestling in Minnesota.

Updated WWE Royal Rumble Card

As it stands now, there are 17 spots filled in the Women’s Royal Rumble, including the entire Smackdown women’s roster (minus Charlotte Flair), and RAW has two more roster members (Alicia Fox & Dana Brooke) that could possibly be added, leaving room for several surprise entrants.
