MAIN EVENT: IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Tetsuya Naito
After a hesitant lockup, Naito and Okada start at a fast pace, trading moves until Naito strikes his signature pose and rolls out of the ring.
Naito continues to circle the ring, breaking the count but rolling out. After plenty of stalling, Naito breaks the count, only to be stomped by Okada. Naito hits a snapmare and a running dropkick to a seated Rainmaker. Naito attempts a Tornado DDT but Okada dropkicks him to the floor. Okada whips Naito into the railing and then big boots him over it. Naito hits a Hot Shot on the barricade and then a neckbreaker onto the barricade. Naito brawls to the apron where he hits another neckbreaker on Okada.
Back in the ring and Naito gets a nearfall. Naito corners Okada and elbows him repeatedly. Naito attempts Destino but Okada reverses, and then Naito reversed the reversal. Naito gets another near fall.
Naito continues working over Okada’s neck. Okada fights out and hits a DDT. The two men end up on the outside where Okada hits a running big boot. Okada hits a barricade-assisted DDT to the floor. Okada rolls Naito back into the ring. Naito ducks a corner elbow and then hits a reverse DDT. Naito attempts a hammerlock clothesline, but Okada counters. Naito bounces off the ropes and eats a flapjack from Okada.
Okada hits the Air Raid Crash Neckbreaker and then a body slam. Okada climbs to the top rope and hits a flying elbow drop. Okada goes for the Rainmaker but Naito counters, Okada locks in a Cobra Clutch but Naito counters into a Tornado DDT. Okada locks in the Cobra Clutch. Naito tries to break the hold, but Okada stays in firm control. Naito scurries to the ropes.
Naito ends up in the corner where he fights off Okada’s running attacks. Naito hits a rope-assisted Neckbreaker and then a super reverse Hurricanrana. Naito hits a Hammerlock Reverse DDT but misses the Stardust Press.
The two men exchange forearms with Naito pummeling Okada to his knees. Naito hits a rolling kick but gets hit with a dropkick from Okada. Okada sends Naito to the ropes and Naito hits a Flying Crossbody Block.
Naito attempts a superplex but Okada elbows him off the turnbuckle and misses a springboard dropkick. Naito goes up top but Okada catches him and attempts a German suplex. Naito fights but Okada folds him up. Okada goes for Rainmaker but Naito attempts to counter with Destino but Okada counters with a Rainmaker for 2.
Okada attempts the Tombstone, but Naito fights out. Naito hits Destino but can’t cover Okada. Both men struggle to their knees, where they elbow each other as the match crosses the 30 minute mark.
They get to their feet, still exchanging elbows.
They continue to land elbows, with the crowd chanting for every strike.
Naito spits in Okada’s face and slaps him. Okada falls to his knees and crawls to the corner, where he tries to counter a splash but gets hit with a flipping piledriver. Okada counters Destino, maintains wrist control, and attempts Rainmaker, only to get hit with Destino that gets 2.999999999.
Naito attempts Destino but Okada elbows out. Naito drops Okada with an Enziguri. Naito eats a dropkick from Okada.
Okada hits a Tombstone Piledriver and attempts Rainmaker but Naito hits Destino and then tries a second but Okada tries a Tombstone and the hits Rainmaker for the pinfall.
WINNER AND STILL CHAMPION: Kazuchika Okada.
