EIGHTH MATCH: (NO DQ) IWGP United States Champion Kenny Omega (c) vs. Chris Jericho
Before the bell, Jericho tries to brawl but is dragged away by Young Lions.
The match officially starts with a brawl and Omega gets Jericho in the corner. Jericho reverses and chops The Cleaner’s chest. Kenny fights back with chops of his own. After a back n’ forth, Jericho counters a Hurricanrana with the Walls of Jericho. Omega crawls to the ropes, but there are no rope breaks. Omega fights out and hurls Jericho onto a cameraman at ringside. Kenny tries a baseball slide but Jericho fights it off. Omega shoves Jericho into and over the barricade. Kenny tries to hit a top rope splash but ends up going through the announce table and Don Calis. Jericho locks in the Walls of Jericho and then shoves Red Shoes. Jericho locks Shota Umino in the Liontamer.
Omega and Jericho brawl through the crowd. Kenny puts a table on Jericho, climbs the scaffold and hits a double stomp. Jericho fights back and hits a suplex over the barricade. Jericho rolls in the ring, Kenny gets on the apron, after a forearm fight, Omega attempts a springboard attack but a springboard dropkick from Jericho takes out The Cleaner’s knee.
Outside the ring, and Jericho grabs a table. Jericho attempts a powerbomb and Omega tries to punch out of it, but to no avail as Jericho dumps him on the floor anyway. Jericho throws three chairs into the ring. Jericho steals a camera and takes pictures of Omega and of his own middle finger.
Jericho rolls Omega back in the ring and climbs the top rope. Jericho hits a spinning elbow from the top. Jericho wedges a chair in the corner. Jericho gets a nearfall and Omega fights back. Jericho hits a Lionsault but doesn’t go for the pin right away and gets two.
Kenny hits a Hurricanrana and then lariats Jericho over the ropes. Omega hits his Rise of The Terminator suicide dive. Omega rolls Jericho back in the ring and hits Kotaru Krusher for two. Omega hits Aoi Shoudou, but Jericho reverses V-Trigger. Omega hits V-Trigger and tries the Snap Dragon but Jericho rolls into the Walls of Jericho. Omega crawls to the corner where he grabs a can of spray paint, which he uses to break the Walls of Jericho.
Omega wedges a chair, but gets shoved into it by Jericho. Jericho asks for a towel to wipe the spray paint off his face. Jericho dominates Omega in the corner.
Jericho slams Omega’s head into the chair, busting Omega open. Omega fights to his feet but Jericho drops him. Jericho beats on Omega, covering himself in his fellow Canadian’s blood.
Kenny hits the Snap Dragon,and then another, then another, and then gets hit by a chair. Both men are down.
Jericho smashes Omega repeatedly with the chair, until it comes apart. Then Jericho beats him with the frame of the chair. Kenny claws his way up Jericho’s leg but gets struck again with the skeleton of the chair that busted him open.
Jericho gets another chair, climbs the top rope and gets kick to the face from Omega. Omega hits V-Trigger and Jericho falls from the top rope through a table at ringside.
Back in the ring, Omega hits knee strike and then another and then V-Trigger. Omega hits a Butterfly Piledriver for two. Omega hits V-Trigger. Omega attempts the One Winged Angel but Jericho rolls through into the Walls of Jericho. Omega tries to get to the ropes but Jericho transitions into the Liontamer. Jericho transitions back into the Walls and Omega fights to the rope.
Omega fights back and hits One Winged Angel for two. Kenny gets to the top rope but Jericho crotches him and attempts a hurricanrana but eats the top of the turnbuckle.
Omega drags Jericho to his feet hits a knee and then a fireman’s carry, but Jericho ducks the Moonsault and hits a Codebreaker for 2.9999999. Jericho attempts the Lionsault but Kenny hits One Winged Angel on the chair for the pinfall.
WINNER AND STILL CHAMPION: Kenny Omega.
