NJPW Officially Announces That Kenny Omega v Chris Jericho At Wrestle Kingdom 12 Will Be A ‘No DQ Match’

At a press conference last night before New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Road to Tokyo Dome show it was officially announced that Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho’s match at Wrestle Kingdom 12 will now be a No Disqualification Match.

This announcement comes on the heels of a vicious surprise attack from Jericho on Omega at the finals of NJPW’s World Tag League Finals.

Omega responding by jumping Jericho during a recent Wrestle Kingdom 12 press conference. Jericho literally threw the press conference table at Omega as Omega was being pulled off Jericho by security.

Kenny Omega has posted the following on Twitter responding to the new match stipulation:

It was also announced at the press conference that since Cody Rhodes lost the Ring of Honor World Championship to Dalton Castle at Final Battle his match with Kota Ibushi will now be a non-title, special attraction match.
