Backstage, Gulak tells Enzo that they know that he will be facing Alexander. Gulak says he is going to be the next CW champion. Enzo says, what. Gulak says its just a little friendly banter. Enzo asks Gulak why he thinks they are friends. Enzo tells Gulak he pays him. They aren’t friends. Enzo is about to tell Gulak his PowerPoints are Sawft but Nia Jax walks up. Enzo asks how she is doin. Jax says hi to Gulak and tells him that she loves his PowerPoint presentations. Enzo blurts out that he loves them too. Jax tells Enzo that they should talk when he is alone.
Intercontinental Championship Match: Roman Reigns (c) vs Cesaro
Cesaro stomps out Reigns. Sharp uppercuts by Cesaro. Reigns catches Cesaro with a clothesline, then another. Reigns sends Cesaro into the corner. Multiple clotheslines by Reigns. Cesaro whips Reigns’ arm over the top rope. Reigns boots Cesaro in the face, then sends him over the top rope. After the break, Cesaro has Reigns in a modified armlock. Reigns slowly gets to his feet. Cesaro floors Reigns with a clothesline to stop his building momentum. Cesaro slaps on a wrist lock. Reigns again struggles to his feet. Reigns counter into a la magistral cradle. Cesar kicks out. Reigns tries multiple pin attempts. Cesaro keeps kicking out. Cesaro traps Reigns in a Fujiwara armbar. Reigns won’t tap. Reigns again gets to his feet. Reigns sends Cesaro into the corner. Cesaro graps Reigns arm again. Reigns lifts Cesaro up and suplexes him. Cesaro falls onto the bottom rope. Reigns hits the drive by. Cesaro kicks out.
Reigns calls for the Superman Punch. Cesaro clotheslines Reigns’ bad arm. Cesaro locks in another Fujiwara armbar Cesaro turns it into the crossface. Reigns counters into a Samoan drop. Cesaro kicks out. Reigns stumbles into the corner. Cesaro hits a huge European uppercut. Cesaro sends Reigns into the ring post shoulder first. Reigns manages to Superman punch Cesaro off the ring steps. Cesaro kicks out. Reigns calls for the Spear. Cesaro kicks Reigns in the head then hits the Swiss Death Uppercut! Reigns kicks out. Cesaro puts Reigns back into the crossface. Reigns counters into a schoolboy bomb. Cesaro kicks out. As both men struggle to their feet Reigns and Cesaro trade punches. The referee tries to break them up. Cesaro takes Reigns over in a small package. Reigns kicks out. Cesaro unloads a flurry of European uppercuts on Reigns. Cesaro tries the Neutralizer but Reigns back body drops Cesaro. Reigns hits the Spear for the win.
