Backstage, Enzo is talking to the CW title. Drew Gulak walks in and says tells Enzo that WWE has revoked Rich Swann’s chance to face him today. There is going to be a second chance fatal four-way match to determine who will face Gulak and the winner of that match will face Enzo for the title. Enzo starts to name his potential competitors and accidentally says Nia Jax. Gulak notes Enzo’s mistake. Enzo says he has a lot on his mind. Gulak goes OH! He gets it. Enzo just wants Gulak to be ready for any potential opponent even someone like Nia Jax. Enzo says err.. yeah. Gulak walks away.
Finn Bálor vs Curtis Axel w/Bo Dallas
Axel takes off his neck brace. Dallas attacks Baálor from behind. Bálor is left laying in the corner. Bálor tells the referee he can go. The bell rings and Axel beats down Bálor. Running neck snap by Axel. Axel works over Bálor’s neck with a modified rear chin lock. Bálor gets to his feet and hits a chin breaker. Axel misses a clothesline. Slingblade by Bálor. Bálor shotgun dropkicks Axel into the corner. Axel clutches as his neck. Bálor lands the Coup de Grâce for the pinfall victory.

Backstage, Kane says tonight he and Braun Strowman step into the abyss. Tonight Kane will delight as he enters the ring with a fellow monster. Kane will, for the first time ever compete with Brock Lesnar. At the Royal Rumble, Kane will become Universal Champion.
