Updates On WWE’s Plans For Daniel Bryan In Chicago
F4WOnline.com is reporting that even tho Daniel Bryan is being advertised as a special referee for a match at the WWE Smackdown Live tapings in Chicago he has not been cleared by WWE to wrestle.
Meltzer went further in a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio noting that the reason Daniel Bryan is being advertised to referee a match in Chicago is because it has been difficult recently to push ticket sales in markets that feature back-to-back shows.
Ticket sales may not be as strong for Smackdown Live as they are for RAW the night before, which is Christmas night, in Chicago.
He went on to say that WWE may be trying to capitolize on the idea that Bryan could be physically involved in the match. That will likely not happen because, as mentioned above, Bryan remains uncleared by WWE doctors.
