WrestleZone, Sherdog Announce Official Live Coverage Agreement

CHICAGO (Nov. 13, 2017) — The planet’s largest independent website for mixed martial arts news, Sherdog, and the most trafficked website for pro wrestling news, WrestleZone, have officially agreed to partner for live MMA and pro wrestling event coverage.

For more than 20 years, Sherdog and WrestleZone have provided fans with all of the insight they need to remain relevant every day around the office water cooler. With this announcement, fans of both genres will now be able to stay up to date with the latest happenings in each other’s industries.

“There is a growing cross section of fans that enjoy both MMA and pro wrestling,” said WrestleZone Executive Editor Nick Hausman. “You never know which major MMA star may make the leap to pro wrestling and vice versa. We hope by featuring live coverage of each other’s major events we can help keep our respective audiences more informed and having more fun.”

Two of the biggest sites under the Evolve Media banner, Sherdog and WrestleZone’s live coverage exchange kicked off this past Saturday when WZ featured coverage of UFC Fight Night 120. Sherdog will begin to run WrestleZone’s live coverage of “Monday Night Raw,” “Smackdown Live,” WWE PPVs and other major pro wrestling events starting Monday, Nov. 13.
