Backstage, Kane says even someone sick and depraved as he is can smile. All he has to do is think about Strowman being crushed in the back of the garbage truck. It was a true symphony of horrors. Strowman will find out tonight that there are things worse than death… and that’s Kane.
In Ring Segment: Kurt Angle
Angle says this is one of the toughest choices he has made in his entire career. Angle has decided that he has to name a replacement for Jordan. Jordan comes out and pleads with Angle to reconsider. Jordan says Angle was injured and he won a freaking gold medal. Angle says it’s not worth it. Jordan says he has emulated Angle at every turn. Jordan says Angle didn’t pick him out of favoritism. Jordan says he was the best option. Jordan knows he will never get another chance like this. This is the one time to be in this ring with his father. Stephanie comes out and tells Angle to make the announcement NOW. Triple H’s music hits and he power walks to the ring. HHH rips the mic out of Angle’s hand. HHH says if Angle won’t make the announcement, he will. HHH announces the fifth member of Team Raw will be HHH! Jordan pleads with Angle and HHH. HHH Pedigrees Jordan and leaves the ring.
Finn Bálor and Samoa Joe vs Gallows and Anderson
Before the match, Joe and Bálor argue about who will start the match. Joe pushes Bálor clear across the ring. Joe goes out on the apron. Anderson tries to attack Bálor but ends up getting roll through kicked in the face. Gallows hits the ring and runs up behind Bálor. Before Gallows can attack Joe clotheslines him. Bálor and Joe stare at each other as we cut to commercial. After the break. Joe and Bálor work over Anderson together. Bálor sets up the double foot stomp. Gallows distracts Bálor long enough for Anderson to crotch Bálor on the top rope. Gallows and Anderson take turns beating down Bálor. Anderson destroys Bálor with a spine buster. Gallows tags in and misses a diving elbow. Bálor catches Gallows with the overhead kick. Bálor tags in Joe, who clears the ring. Joe hits Anderson with a back elbow followed by a falling enziguri. Joe tags in Bálor and tells him to go up top. Bálor does, but Gallows runs into the ring. Joe sends Gallows to the outside. Bálor hits Gallows with the PK on the apron. Joe crushes Anderson with a sick uranage in the corner. Joe hits the ropes and takes out Gallows with a suicide dive. Bálor hits the Coup De Grâs on Anderson for the win!
Winners- Finn Bálor and Samoa Joe
After the match, Joe walks up the ramp and leaves Bálor in the ring to celebrate by himself.
Backstage, Alexa Bliss says she doesn’t care who she faces. Doesn’t matter if its Charlotte Flair or Natalya. Bliss says when she went from Smackdown to Raw Smackdown became the B show. Normally Bliss DVRs Smackdown and forgets to watch it. Tomorrow she may watch… in fact, she may watch it live and in person. Either way, the end result Sunday will be the same.
