In the parking lot, The Undisputed Era tries to speak with Roderick Strong. We can’t hear any auto of the confrontation but Strong doesn’t seem to be interested in whatever Adam Cole is selling.
Backstage, William Regal is about to announce who the final competitor in the women’s title match at Takeover will be determined. Bliie Kay and Payton Royce interrupt. Kay asks if Regal is going to just insert her into the match. Regal announces there will be a battle royal next week and the winner will be the last superstar added to the women’s title match. Kay storms away in a huff.
Aleister Black vs Raul Mendoza
As soon as the bell rings, the Velveteen Dream hops up on the apron. Dream has Black’s vest in his hand. Dream puts on Black’s vest. Black walks towards Dream but Mendoza catches Black with a high knee. Black falls to the outside. Mendoza dives over the top rope and hits a sky twister press onto Black. Mendoza rolls Black into the ring. Mendoza dives into the ring and hits a senton on Black. Mendoza tries to kick Black but Black catches Mendoza’s leg. Black unleashes a flurry of strikes. Rolling sweep followed by a basement knee by Black. Black looks pretty pissed. Black springboard moonsaults onto Mendoza. Black destroys Mendoza with the Black Mass for the win.
Winner- Aleister Black
After the match, Black sits in the middle of the ring and refuses to look in Dream’s direction. Dream walks backstage. For a split second, Black looks in Dreams direction as he walks away.
