Fatal-4-Way Match to Determine Number One Contender For WWE Smackdown Live Tag Team Titles
Match starts with Viktor and Zack Ryder. Viktor gets an early advantage, but throws Ryder into a corner, where Chad Gable tags in. Gable tags his partner Shelton Benjamin in as he also goes to work on Viktor. Benjamin continues the fluid tag team work and tags Gable back in. Gable gets a hold of Viktor’s arm, but Viktor is eventually able to reverse the hold. Gable twists around and then toe drops Viktor to gain the advantage again. Viktor tries to fight out, but Gable has a tight hold on the arm. Viktor rushes Gable into the corner where his partner Conor tags in. Conor is whipped into Gable by Viktor. Conor then goes for the pin and the every participant in the match tries to break the pin and then stare down each other at the center of the ring.
When we come back from the break Mojo Rawley is taking out virtually everybody involved in the match, while also taking care of the legal opponent, Tyler Breeze. Rawley goes for a pin, but it is broken up by a group of competitors. Ryder tags in, but he is not on the same page with his tag partner. Benajmin tags in and spinebusters a couple competitors, while his partner suplexes a few others. Breeze tries to fight back against Benjamin and Gable, but Breeze’s attempts are squashed quickly. Benjamin puts Breeze up for the power bomb which is capped of by a flying Gable of the top rope. Benjamin holds on to Breeze for the pin.
Winners and new number one contenders: Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable
After the match Dasha Fuentes is backstage and says she has still not gotten any comments from Sami Zayn or Kevin Owens. Tom Phillips promises that they will get comments from the two by the end of the show.
