Shane McMahon makes his way to the ring first, as Kevin Owens and McMahon are schedule to go “face-to-face” tonight.
Immediately gets the cheap pop by addressing the Denver crowd, but then asks Owens to show up. Owens music does not hit and Shane calls Owens a coward. Owens is a coward for talks about Shane’s kids, brutally beating Vince McMahon and also Sami Zayn. Shane says when the HIAC closes will change his life. Shane says he will changes the rules and says falls will count anywhere. You then hear Owens talking to Shane, who is then seen walking through the crowd. Asks Shane how he could help him. Shane wants Owens to come in the ring, Owens says that he aims to please. But instead teases. Says he already spent to much time in Denver as is and will see Shane on Sunday. As Owens walks up the steps, Shane calls him a coward. Owens looks back but continues to walk up the arena steps. Shane says he will then bring the fight to Owens and runs through the crowd to get Owens.
Shane is walking through the concourse of the arena and is then attacked from behind by Owens. Owens and Shane start trading punches and Shane smacks Owens head into the merch table a few times. Owens then launches Shane into boxes. Owens plants Shane with a powerbomb through a merch table.
After examining the damage, Owens walks down the arena steps towards the ring.
We are oddly interrupted by The Chrisley family, but then back to WWE programming.
Owens said that he will beat Shane in the Cell or anywhere he wants to. He tells Shane not to worry about jumping off the cell because he will throw Shane off the cell. Owens turns around and is surprised to see Shane limping down the arena steps. Owens warns Shane to stop before he really gets hurt. Before Shane can get over the barricade, Owens rolls out of the ring and rushes Shane. Shane then throws Owens over the barricade. Shane jumps on the barricade and launches himself towards Owens. Shane gets tossed behind the announcers table. Owens is surprised again to see Shane get up. Shane gingerly climbs back inside the ring only to get attacked by Owens. But Shane continues to fight Owens. That fight is then halted by an Owens punch.
Owens was about to leave, but he isn’t done. Just as it looks like Owens will powerbomb Shane. Shane gets up and fights back again only to be knocked down one more time. There are four referees in the ring trying to break up the fight, Owens does not oblige. He picks up Shane and throws him into the ropes and executes a popup powerbomb. Owens music hits and he finally is satisfied with the result. Owens stops at the top of the ramp looks back and stares down Shane one final time.
