Backstage, Charlie asks Roman Reigns if he has any comments about what happened to Rollins and Ambrose. Reigns says they will be fine. They can handle themselves. When asked if he has a strategy for his match with the Miz tonight, Reigns says he doesn’t do complicated strategies. Hopefully, he will get to break Miz’s jaw tonight and leave the Intercontinental Champion.

Intercontinental Championship Match: The Miz (c) w/The Miztourage vs Roman Reigns
Miz, Bo Dallas, and Curtis Axel enter via the crowd a’la The Shield. When Miz and his crew finally get to the ring, Reigns music hits and Reigns power walks to the ring. Reigns looks to be all business and that display by the Miz and his cronies did not help Reigns’ mood. As Jojo is doing the introductions, Reigns rolls to the outside and destroys both Axel and Dallas. Reigns Superman punches both Axel and Dallas. Reigns grabs a chair and wears out Axel with it. The Miz looks on from the ring, horrified. Dallas attacks Reigns from behind. Reigns Superman punches him. Reigns beats the holy hell out of both Dallas and Axel on the stage with a chair.
