GFW Global Championship Match: Eli Drake (c) w/Chris Adonis vs Johnny Impact
Drake gets in Impact’s face and bad mouths him. Impact lands a few strikes and a running corner clothesline. Drake surprises Impact with a clothesline. Impact crotches Drake on the top rope. Impact hits a disaster kick. Drake falls to the outside. Adonis gets on the apron to buy Drake some time. Drake shoulder blocks Impact. Drake rolls over Impact’s back. Drake hits the ropes and runs right into a clothesline by Impact. Impact picks up Drake and hits a rope hung corkscrew neck breaker for a near fall. Leg lariat by Impact. Impact sets up his running knee strike. Adonis trip Impact. The referee kicks Adonis out of the ringside area.
After a short break, Drake tries to leave the arenImpactact grabs Drake and suplexes him on the ramp. Impact plays keep hide and seek with Drake. Drake manages to land an elbow as Impact tries to springboard into the ring. Drake lays in a few stiff elbow to Impact’s chest as he is laid out on the apron. Drake slingshots Impact throat first into the bottom rope. Drake slaps on a rear chin lock. Impact tries to fire up but Drake cuts him off. Drake misses an elbow off the second rope. Impact lands a few rights. Drake stumbles into the corner. Impact hits a backbreaker, followed by a Russian leg sweep. Roundoff leg drop by Impact Drake kicks out. Drake counters Impact’s backslide with a backslide of his own. Impact kicks out and hits a running knee. Impact immediately pops up and lands a standing shooting star press.
After a short break, Drake his blunt force trauma for a long two count. Drake goes for a clothesline but Impact ducks. Drake almost decapitates the referee. Impact hits a spin kick and goes for the pin. The referee is down so he can’t count the pinfall. Adonis runs back to ringside. Drake hits Impact in the head with the GFW Global Championship. A new referee runs down to count the pin. Impact kicks out. Drake decks the referee. Adonis and Drake beat down Impact. Adonis holds up Impact so Drake can hit Impact with the title. Drake accidentally hits Adonis with the title. Impact crushes Drake with the Moonlight Drive on Championship! Drake kicks out. Impact goes up for the rolling elbow. Drake pushes the referee at Impact. Impact leaps over the referee right into a stiff low blow by Drake. Drake hits the Gravy Train for the win!
Winner and STILL GFW Global Champion, Eli Drake!
After the match, Drake tells Impact he is never going to sniff the Championship again. Adonis and Drake beat down Impact. Garza Jr. runs in and makes the save. LAX appears out of nowhere and attacks Garza Jr. Konnan gets into it with a fan. Konnan mushes the fan in the face. Officials run to ringside to break up the altercation. In the ring, Adonis puts the referee in the Adonis lock.
