In Ring Segment: Kurt Angle
Angle welcomes the crowd to the show. Angle says that No Mercy will be one of the biggest shows ever. Angle runs down the two main matches on the card, Brock Lesnar vs Braun Strowman and John Cena vs Roman Reigns. Angle starts to say that isn’t all but The Miz’s music hits. Miz, Bo Dallas, and Curtis Axel join Angle in the ring. Angle congratulates Miz on the being a new father. Miz complains that he doesn’t have a match at the PPV again. Angle tells Miz that tonight Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy. Elias. and Jason Jordan will compete in a fatal four-way match tonight to determine Miz’s number one contender.
Miz goes on a rant about how Jordan doesn’t belong in the match. Superstars like Dallas and Axel shouldn’t be overlooked. Miz adds that he is going to be a better champion and a better father than Angle ever was. Jordan matches to the ring and tells Miz if he says another word about Angle he is going to punch Miz’s teeth down his throat. Jordan asks his father to put Axel and Dallas in the match as well. Angle agrees. The match is now a six-pack challenge. Miz asks Jordan if he is stupid. Now his chances are even less. Miz tells Jordan that he is even more incompetent than Angle is. Jordan attacks Miz. Dallas and Axel help Miz out of the ring.
