Bayley Provides Injury Update
WWE Raw Brand Superstar Bayley caught up with cameras backstage at WWE SummerSlam to give her thoughts on tonight’s women’s championship match and provide and update on the injury that kept her off the show.
Bayley said that it wasn’t easy to take a back seat on such a major show, especially with how much the Barclays Center has meant to her and her career, but acknowledged that she’ll get another shot down the line. Several people have already sent in word that she isn’t wearing her sling, but Bayley said she actually lost it and the doctors had to tape her up instead. Last night at NXT Takeover she revealed that rehab had been going very well, a lot of mobility had been regained in her shoulder, and she should have a timetable for return within the next month.
Ellworth on a Carmella Cash-In
WWE has posted a video backstage at SummerSlam featuring James Ellworth, discussing whether or not Carmella may cash in her Money in the Bank briefcase tonight in Brooklyn. Naomi is set to defend the Smackdown Women’s Championship against Natalya.
