Backstage Segment
Kurt Angle was backstage with Matt and Jeff Hardy. Broken Matt said they were having a DELIGHTFUL time in Boston as the crowd chanted “DELETE” in the background. The Miz and his groupies interrupted them and wanted to know what Angle was going to do about unleashing Brock Lesnar on them last week. The GM said he was going to do absolutely nothing, except put his son Jason Jordan in a match with Bo Dallas later on tonight. Miz freaked out and said that he would be the one to face Jordan tonight instead. A referee showed up and said there was a problem with Finn Balor and Bray Wyatt, and Angle rushed off to take care of business.
After a commercial break we cut back to see a heard of officials and referees trying to separate Bray Wyatt and Finn Balor, who are slugging it out in the parking lot. Kurt Angle tells them to wait until SummerSlam and Balor basically said he wasn’t waiting anymore and continued the brawl. Angle said if they didn’t want to wait then SummerSlam is coming early, because the two of them are now in a match later on tonight.
In-Ring Segment
Elias Samson was introduced, and he asked the crowd who wanted to walk with the Drifter. He received a mix of both cheers and boos, until saying that Fenway Park was a dump, at which point everyone decided to hate him. Elias sang a song about Boston being terrible, but was interrupted by R-Truth. The Truth rapped its way to the ring but Samson punched him in the face to save us all from the rest of the song. He dropped R-Truth with the Drift Away before taking his guitar and leaving.
