Orton tosses Mahal over the announce table. Orton tries to RKO Mahal on the table but Mahal pushes Orton chest first into the barricade. After a short break, Mahal is dropping his knee on Orton’s chest. Mahal applies a rear chin lock. Mahal tries a running shoulder block but Orton moves out of the way. Mahal hits the corner hard. Mahal stuns Mahal on the middle rope. Mahal tries to get int he ring but Orton kicks the rope. Orton super plexes Mahal back into the ring. Mahal kicks out. Orton blast Mahal with a few clotheslines, followed by a fallaway slam. Orton goes for the ten punches in the corner. Mahal drops Orton on the top turnbuckle. Mahal hits the ropes and runs right into a power slam by Orton. Mahal kicks out again. Mahal drops Orton with a high knee. Orton kicks out. Mahal sets up his finish but Orton counters. Orton hits his hangman’s DDT. Orton tries the RKO but Mahal turns it into a roll up. Orton kicks out. Mahal… superkicks Orton? That was unexpected. Mahal tries his finish again. Orton reverses it into the RKO for the win!

After the match, Orton walks up the ramp as Mahal clutches the WWE Title in the ring. Orton gets to the stage and Rusev superkicks him.
