WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar joined the Smackdown Live brand for their Saturday night house show in Detroit, Michigan this weekend. You can check out a few photos and videos from the appearances below!
The WWE roster helped Motor City say goodbye to the famous Joe Louis Arena Saturday night, as it is scheduled for demolition after more than 40 years in operation. The building has hosted a multitude of wrestling events including three Survivor Series and the 2009 Royal Rumble, won by Randy Orton.
The “Beast Incarnate” had a little farewell tribute planned for his own “Joe” however, defeating Raw Superstar Samoa Joe to retain the Universal Championship. Lesnar will put the title on the line against the Samoan Submission Machine, in addition to Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman in a four-way match at WWE SummerSlam next month.
