Update on Braun Strowman – Karen Jarrett Incident
As noted, WWE star Braun Strowman and GFW star Karen Jarrett were involved in a bar incident following WWE Raw in Nashville on July 17th.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that Strowman blew Jarrett off after she asked the big man for an autograph, and Strowman later apologized once he found out Jarrett is the ex-wife of WWE Raw GM and Hall of Famer Kurt Angle.
According to PWInsider.com’s version of the story, while the incident did happen, it was more a case of “a drunken conversation between two drunk people in a bar that got loud, nothing more.”
Was WWE Battleground Sold Out?
According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE Battleground, which took place last Sunday night in Philadelphia, was a few thousand fans short of a legitimate sellout.
The PPV took in 12,500 fans, which was still considered quite strong for a Smackdown brand PPV. As noted, WWE reduced ticket prices beginning a couple weeks before the PPV in an attempt to attract more fans to the Wells Fargo Center in Philly.
Nikki Bella on Who She Wants to Face for the Title
Nikki Bella has posted the following video from the recent Total Divas cast trip to Cabo, and during the video she reveals she was rooming with Alexa Bliss on the trip and would one day like to face her for the Women’s Title in WWE:
