NXT Tag Team Title Match: The Authors of Pain w/Paul Ellering vs Heavy Machinery
Akum and Knight tussle with each other until Akum catches Knight with a back elbow. Knight turns the tables and traps Akum in the corner. Knight hits multiple corner clothesline. Akum eventually gets an elbow up, which stuns Knight long enough for Akum to tag in Rezar. Knight tags in Dozovic. Dozovic and Rezar go nose to nose. Rezar hits the ropes for a clothesline. Dozovic doesn’t budge. Rezar hits the ropes and Dozovic runs him over. Akum and Knight get in the ring and there is a stare down between both teams.
After a short break, Akum and Rezar are taking turns beating down Knight in the corner. Knight tries to fire up but Akum drops him with a knee. Rezar tags in and put Knight in a sleeper. Knight tries to fight back but the AOP hit a back breaker/flying stomp combo for a near fall. Rezar hits the ropes but Knight blasts him with a clothesline. Dozovic and Akum tag in. Dozovic runs over Akum with multiple clotheslines. Dozovic tosses Rezar across the ring with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Knight clotheslines Rezar out of the ring. Dozovic body slams Akum then slams Knight on Akum. Akum kicks out. Heavy Machinery tries to set up their finish but Rezar cuts it off. The Authors of Pain hit the Last Chapter on Dozovic for the win.
Winners and Still NXT Tag Champions, The Authors of Pain!
After the match, SAnity comes out on the ramp. Pages from Ellering’s Book of Dominance fall from the sky.
