New Match Confirmed For WWE Great Balls Of Fire PPV, Scott Steiner On Slammiversary Return, Running A Bulldozer Through A Shoney’s (Videos)

Scott Steiner

The above video features an exclusive interview with Scott Steiner at the Impact Wrestling Slammiversary Fan Interaction event this weekend in Orlando Florida.

Steiner talked about why he came back to team with Josh Mathews at Slammiversary, why people continue to listen to his controversial comments, running a bulldozer through a Shoney’s for a renovation and commercial and more. You can read a few transcribed highlights below:

Steiner comments on why he got involved in Slammiversary XV:

Well, Josh called me up, asked me if I wanted to beat somebody up. You know, that’s what I do, that’s the business I chose. Call me up, I’ll beat ‘em up. And the fact that I hate lawyers, that enriched the pot a little bit. Even though I’m wrestling tomorrow with Joseph Park who is a lawyer, anybody nationwide, or make that worldwide, anyone with a problem with a lawyer, call me up, I’ll beat ‘em up.

Steiner on the experience of driving a bulldozer through a building to promote his Shoney’s re-opening:

Destruction. Destruction goes with my career. It was a lot of fun. my uncle was in construction when I was younger, and I knew how to drive the machinery. My Dad actually built the house we lived in, so I knew a lot about the stuff, but there’s nothing like getting in a big back loader or Earth mover and running it into a building and watching it crash. It was pretty cool.
