Sean Waltman on the Women’s Money in the Bank Controversy, Chael Sonnen on Who Will Win the Mayweather vs McGregor Fight

MMA fighter Chael Sonnen is the special guest on Sean Waltman’s X-Pac 12360 this week, and during the interview Sonnen talks about his upcoming Bellator fight against Wanderlei Silva, and more. Below are some interview highlights:

Chael Sonnen mentions how he was more motivated after his fight with Tito Ortiz:

I went crazy after that fight, absolutely crazy. I never trained so hard, never felt so good. That was the motivation I needed. It was just a motivation thing and I haven’t been so motivated in over 10 years.

Chael Sonnen talks about his first tryout at the Power Plant for WCW Nitro:

I went for the tryout, they used to advertise that at Nitro “Hey call this number if you want to be a pro-wrestler.” So I called in one day, told my dad and he got me a ticket and he sends me out there. It was right after my sophomore year in college and it was a tryout. Sarge was still running it, I was in great shape, all American that was in great shape. I can’t tell you how difficult It was. Only me and two other guys made it through while everyone was done the very first day.

Chael Sonnen Gives His Thoughts on the Conor McGregor/ Floyd Mayweather Match:

Mayweather better win and he better do it really quickly and really dominantly. You got a guy whose never lost at boxing against a guy who has never boxed and if this story ends any other way than absolute destruction and the entire integrity of the sport of boxing takes a huge blow and they cannot afford that right now.

Sean ‘X-Pac’ Waltman talks about the finish of the Women’s Money In The Bank Match:

It felt like they took a big giant crap on it, to be honest with you. And here’s the thing, we can blame anything or anyone and point fingers. But, when it comes to these things; it’s Vince McMahon, that’s where the buck stops. That’s just the way it is.
