Backstage News on Strowman vs Reigns Ambulance Match
As seen on WWE Raw last night, Braun Strowman vs Roman Reigns in an Ambulance Match was made official for the Great Balls of Fire PPV on July 9th.
It will be interesting to see how the match plays out, because as we noted before WWE Extreme Rules, the plan then was for Brock Lesnar to face Braun Strowman for the WWE Universal Title at WWE SummerSlam. The plan also was for Strowman to win his match against Roman Reigns at Great Balls of Fire to setup his Title match against Lesnar at SummerSlam. However, with Reigns announcing on Raw last night that he intends to face the Universal Champion at SummerSlam, it appears as if Strowman’s elbow surgery might have forced plans to change.
Sami Zayn Sends Message to London Police Officer
As noted, Triple H recently flew to London and presented police officer Charlie Guenigault with a custom WWE Title belt in London. The 25 year old off-duty police officer was wearing a Sami Zayn shirt when he fought off terrorists in the recent London Bridge attacks, and Zayn himself has sent the following video message to Guenigault:
