Legendary Announcer Possibly Returning At Slammiversary
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter revealed that longtime former Impact Wrestling play-by-play announcer Mike Tenay is rumored to return at the 15th Slammiversary event on Sunday, July 2, although there has been no official word as of now.
His broadcast colleague, Don West, is scheduled to return to the booth at the event. West has not been involved in announcing for Impact Wrestling since 2009. He did act as a manager the same year, before spending the rest of his tenure promoting internet sales for the website.
