Woods & Omega Meet Again

The bitter online rivalry continues, as WWE Superstar Xavier Woods caught up with New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Kenny Omega this weekend at the CEO video game convention in Orlando.

The feud dates back a few years, as both Woods and Omega are big video game players, with the two actually facing off in an epic Street Fighter battle at last year’s CEO event. Both were outspoken in 2016 about wanting to collaborate on a New Day vs. The Elite match, knowing that WWE would likely never open the doors for that to happen for the foreseeable future.

The Stone Cold Stunner Debuts

It’s time to play “Spot the Error Made by WWE’s YouTube Team” once again! WWE recently uploaded a video claiming to be the first ever debut of Steve Austin’s first ever Stone Cold Stunner. And it is…sort of.

The actual video, which features Austin delivering his iconic manuever to Savio Vega, actually is the first recorded user of the Stone Cold Stunner. Except that it occurred on Monday Night Raw (which you can hear in the video) and not on WWE Superstars (which was called WWF Superstars of Wrestling back then) like the title claims.

The description also reads “The Texas Rattlesnake unleashes his signature strike for the first time on Jason Arndt.” That’s interesting, as many people believe it was Arndt that took the first Stunner, when Vega (as seen in the video above) actually took the first Stunner one day prior at a Raw television taping. The date listed in the video is also wrong, so it seems like they may have just taken random names and facts and put them on a dart board for this one…
