AAW Returns to Bourbon Street
AAW returns to 115 Bourbon Street in Marionette Park this Saturday night for an absolutely loaded event featuring a colossal main event that’s been a long time coming.
The “Worldwide Desperado” Sami Callihan has amassed a laundry list of victims since winning the AAW Championship – a prize he affectionately refers to as “The Big F’n Belt” – over ten months ago. That list includes the likes of NXT Superstar Kassius Ohno, Lucha Underground stars Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix, Candice LaRae, John Morrison, the world-traveling warrior Low-Ki, and even the living lucha legend Juventud Guerrera. But this weekend the “Callihan Death Machine” faces his greatest challenge yet – the 250-pound bulldozer and New Japan Pro Wrestling star Michael Elgin.

Speaking of Michael Elgin… “Big Mike” might be heading into his own promotion, Glory Pro Wrestling out of St. Louis, as the AAW Heavyweight Champion on July 9th.
Glory Pro just announced a blockbuster acquisition, as one of the greatest Japanese wrestlers in the world today is in action, when Naomichi Marufuji takes on Donovan Dijak. Plus, Elgin himself will be taking on former WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes, who has a chance to walk into Belleville as both ROH World Champion and IWGP Heavyweight Champion!
