PJ Black Suffers Serious Injuries After Base Jumping Accident, Billie Kay On What The Future Holds (Videos)

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Lucha Underground star PJ Black has several serious injuries, including a broken leg and hand and the loss of a finger, after a base jumping accident in South Africa.

Black, the former Justin Gabriel, has had to cancel all of his upcoming independent appearances, and is expected to make a 100% recovery in 12 months. Black made several posts on his Facebook page about his condition, saying he may be able to resume wrestling in six months, but it will be a full year until he is fully recovered. Black said he will be back for Season 4 of Lucha Underground, and also posted a video showing a similar incident, but said it was not his video and he was just trying to show what happened to him.

Black previously missed ring time in 2016 after a base jump accident where he broke both ankles in October, but returned to action at WrestleCade V on Thanksgiving weekend. You can check out videos Black posted of the stitches / staples being removed from his ankle below:
