More on This Week’s Low Smackdown Viewership

As noted, this week’s edition of WWE Smackdown averaged 2.072 million viewers heading into Money in the Bank on Sunday.

This week’s Smackdown took in the second lowest audience since the WWE brand split last July. Smackdown this week beat only the November 8th episode of the show, which went up against coverage of the Presidential election.

Additionally, viewership for this week’s Smackdown was nearly identical to viewership of the show one year ago this week, and that show was taped on a Tuesday and aired up against Game 6 of the NBA Finals.

Slow Motion Video of Smackdown Main Event

WWE has released the following slow motion video of the main event from WWE Smackdown Live this week:

Ric Flair Wants Another HOF Induction

On the latest edition of WWE’s “Table for 3”, Ric Flair sat with Randy Orton and Bruno Sammartino, and Flair joked about why he wants Randy Orton to retire when he said the following:

“Well, here’s the deal. I want you to retire as soon as you can. God knows you’ve got enough money, okay? So I can get my third [WWE Hall Of Fame] ring when they induct Evolution, okay?”
