Jada Toys WWE Metals: Summer Slam Finn Bálor, AJ Styles + WWE Metals Minis: Cena, Banks, Bálor, Paige & Lesnar (Photos)

Welcome to a bonus review this week! Today we take a look at some of the newest WWE Metals Die Cast figures from Jada Toys as well as a first look at the all-NEW WWE Metals Minis line! The only one in stores right now is the 4″ Bálor with white tassels, which is variant to the older one you can see here. He is just starting to hit Walmart shelves and should be hitting more retailers very soon. The Minis are supposed to be hitting Toys R Us stores soon as well so keep an eye out for those!

That being said let’s take a look at AJ Styles first! This is AJ’s very first Metals figure and will probably be highly sought after. I really like the look of this figure as he has the details on his kickpads and even has a cool pose. These figure are made of metal and are stuck in the poses you see them in. They only have waist articulation, so you can rotate them left or right at the waist. These are great for display for any collector if you’re unfamiliar with these. It’s interesting looking at AJ’s box seeing only three guys in his “set” as there are normally four. We were informed Rollins and Charlotte were set to release with him, which you can find on eBay currently, but they were held back suddenly for some changes.

Looking at Bálor, this figure is awesome. It’s based on his Summer Slam attire with the white tassels versus the red, plus his body paint on his front and back. This one has the green tongue painted on his chest, which is pretty impressive considering the scale of these figures. He is currently showing up at Walmart as stated above, but should be hitting other retailers soon as well. He and AJ stand approximately 4″ tall, like the others previously released except Triple H who is 6″ tall.

Moving on to the WWE Metals Minis, which we are proud to review early, these are even smaller versions of the 4″ figures, but these stand approximately 2″ tall. These are great to display in your room or at work if you want something small on your desk/shelf rather than larger figures. These include Bálor, Cena, Sasha, Lesnar, Paige and Triple H (not pictured). There are also variants of all of them, meaning different colored attires, that will release later than those pictured. You may have seen some DC heroes ones, so keep an eye out for a WWE set at Toys R Us. The only one of these that truly differs from their original 4″ figure is Lesnar as he has one of his signature t-shirts painted on.

It’s nice to see the Jada Toys WWE Metals line expanding. The Minis were a total surprise as we didn’t know they existed until we received them first hand. Unfortunately we don’t have the Mini Triple H to show you at this time but hopefully in a future review. The different sized figures are great for the type of collector you are. Some may prefer larger scale while some may prefer a much smaller scale depending on the space you have to display them. The Minis are practically shrunken versions of their 4″/6″ figures, just missing a bit of detail. They’re very impressive for 2″ figures honestly and I recommend picking them up once you find them. Each figure comes with a stand to display them on as well. You can see all the different sized figures compared to one another to get an idea of the scale difference.
