Two Raw Stars Reportedly Joining Total Divas Cast

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, WWE Raw stars Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss will be joining the cast of Total Divas when the new season begins filming. The new season is set to begin in a few weeks after the final decision was made, and as we previously noted, Eva Marie will not be returning to the series and producers were interviewing the female roster to find a worthy replacement.

Update on Ric Flair ESPN Special

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting the Ric Flair ESPN “30 for 30” piece, which was originally set to air early this year, has been pushed back to January 2018. The air date of the special has changed several times now.

Backstage News on David Otunga’s WWE Raw Status

As seen at WWE Extreme Rules, David Otunga appeared on the Kickoff show panel, leading to speculation that Booker T would be replacing him permanently on the Raw commentary team.

However, according to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Otunga was at Extreme Rules because he had the day off from filming his new movie, so he happened to work the PPV. Otunga is expected to be back full-time with WWE in a few weeks, but it remains unclear as to whether or not he will be returning to the Raw announce team. Booker T noted on Twitter awhile back that he will be calling Raw for the rest of the summer.
