WWE Extreme Rules Results (6/4): Fatal 5-Way Contender’s Match, The Hardys Defend in Steel Cage, Cruiserweight Submission Match & More

– The Drifter is in the ring, sitting on a stool, guitar in hand and ready for a performance bigger than the Super Bowl halftime show! He has a song prepared for Baltimore tonight, which turns the crowd very fast when they realize he’s essentially signing about them being trash. Somehow he makes it all the way through his song, completely uninterrupted and…that’s our segment, apparently.

WWE RAW WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP
KENDO STICK ON A POLE MATCH
ALEXA BLISS (c) vs. BAYLEY

To recap, whoever climbs the turnbuckle and removes the kendo stick from the poll will be allowed to use the weapon legally throughout the match. Alexa Bliss taunted her opponent to start the match, telling her to go after the kendo stick like it doesn’t matter to her. The two scrambled up the turnbuckle and it’s Bayley who brought down the weapon first, but it falls to the mat as both women go crashing off the ropes to the ground below. The challenger saw Bliss going for the foreign object, but tackled her to the floor to make sure she couldn’t get to it. Bayley threw the champion hard into the barricade, returning to the ring and finally picking up the kendo stick. She hesitated too long, trying to figure out if she wanted to actually use it, which gave Bliss the opening to tackle her down and grab the weapon for herself. She goes crazy on Bayley unloading with a flurry of shots from the kendo stick…. and hits a DDT for the win. No disqualification. Apparently it didn’t matter who got it first – why was it on a pole to begin with then? – despite the fact that they just outlined the rules five minutes ago. Okay.

WINNER AND STILL CHAMPION: ALEXA BLISS
