It is announced that Ember Moon will not be able to compete at Takeover Chicago due to injury. Backstage, Moon says there isn’t going to be any NXT Takeover Chicago for her but when she is back she will be better than ever.
Pete Dunne will get a shot at the WWE UK title at NXT Takeover Chicago.
During a sit-down interview with Nikki Cross, she almost attacks the PA who tries to attach a mic to her. Cross is rambling to herself about Ruby Riot and Asuka. The screen keeps cutting to the emergency broadcast network screen. Cross then says she is going to take everything from Asuka.
Backstage, Drew McIntyre says he is a little disappointed that he isn’t in the NXT title match. Wesley Blake interrupts and says if anyone deserves a second chance it’s him. Blake tells McIntyre to leave and walks away.
