Dean Ambrose is walking backstage as his phone rings. It’s Kurt Angle on the line. Ambrose says Angle has made a great choice. Ambrose says he has a great idea for the next PPV. Angle hangs up on him. Ambrose tells a PA that he has a big announcement to make and to hit his music.

Ambrose says he just got off the phone with Raw GM Kurt Angle. Angle will not be here tonight. Angle has named Ambrose acting GM of Raw. Ambrose says that means this is his show and on his show, they aren’t about talking they are about action. The Miz and Maryse come out on the ramp. Miz questions why the crowd approves of Ambrose being in charge of Raw. Miz says they would be better off if they put everyone’s name in a hat and picked matches that way. Ambrose says he actually has a detailed plan for tonight. Miz says he has a news flash. Miz received a call from Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie heard about Angle’s plan and she assigned Miz as the co-acting general manager: The Miz. Miz tries to say that he is awesome but Ambrose cuts him off. Ambrose says Miz should enjoy being working with him tonight because at the PPV he is going to destroy Miz. Miz says he beat Seth “Freaking” Rollins and Finn Bálor last week. Ambrose says out of respect he wants to shake Miz’s hand.
ROAR! blares through the arena as Braun Strowman marches to the ring. Strowman’s left arm is in a sling. Strowman says he doesn’t care who is in charge, tonight he is going to get what he wants. At Payback, he took out the Big Dog. As long as Roman Reigns can walk, he isn’t finished with Reigns. When Strowman’s arm is healed, he is going to end Reigns. When Strowman is finished with Reigns, he wants Brock Lesnar. Kalisto walks out on the ramp and says Strowman might not be done with Reigns but Kalisto isn’t done with Strowman. Kalisto wants Strowman tonight. Strowman says he crushed Kalisto like a beer can. Strowman says he can beat Kalisto with one arm tied behind his back. Ambrose books Strowman vs Kalisto. Strowman asks if Ambrose heard him say he is injured. Ambrose says he heard Strowman say he could beat Kalisto with one arm. Strowman stares down Ambrose and leaves the ring. Miz says congrats, Ambrose, one day on the job and you have already ended Kalisto’s career. Ambrose books Miz vs Finn Bálor up next.
