United Kingdom Championship Match: Tyler Bate (c) vs Jack Gallagher
Gallagher and Bate shake hands before locking up. Bate locks in a wrist lever, but Gallagher twirls out of it. Gallagher takes Bate down but Bate nips up and takes Gallagher over in a wrist lock. Bate transitions into a side headlock. Gallagher walks on his hands to escape the hold. Gallagher locks in a full nelson. Bate grabs his leg to escape (seriously, that’s what happened). Gallagher single legs Bate and twists him into a pretzel for a two count. Bates rolls Gallagher over in a head scissor, but Gallagher reverses it into a jackknife pin. Bate stands out of it to break the count. Both men try to pin each other over and over again but no one can get a three count.
After a short break, Gallagher is stomping on Bate’s arm and hand. Wrist lock by Gallagher. Bate keeps trying to escape but no matter what he does Gallagher will not release the hold. Gallagher wraps up Bate’s arm and steps on the other into a pin. After a series of monkey flips both Bate and Gallagher bridge up to avoid being pinned. Gallagher takes Bate over in a body scissors followed by a dropkick. Bate catches Gallagher with bop and bang. Hesitation German suplex by Bate for a near fall. Bate picks up Gallagher for a suplex but Gallagher reverses it into the Jim Breaks special. Bate fights out of it and hits a suplex for a two count.
