After a short break, McIntyre tosses Lorcan across the ring with another huge belly to belly suplex. McIntyre whips Lorcan into the corner, but Lorcan catches him with a boot as he charges in. Lorcan hits the running blockbuster for a two count. Lorcan goes up top, but McIntyre headbutts him to cut him off. McIntyre tries to set up a superplex, but Lorcan crotches him on the top. Lorcan pushes McIntyre so he is caught in the tree of woe. McIntyre sits up and takes Lorcan over in a reverse spider suplex! McIntyre walks over to Lorcan, but Lorcan slaps the mess out of McIntyre. Lorcan slaps McIntyre over and over again. Lorcan hits the ropes, but McIntyre catches him with a back elbow. McIntyre picks up Lorcan and slams him face first with a reverse Alabama slam. McIntyre hits the claymore for the win.
Winner- Drew McIntyre
After the match, McIntyre says he has all the raw talent and can lay the smackdown on anyone, but he wants to be here in NXT.
In-Ring Segment: Shinsuke Nakamura
Nakamura says one year ago he came to NXT. He had experience. He was already a champion in Japan, but he wanted to challenge himself. NXT is his home. He learned a lot from the NXT wrestler, coaches, and the NXT Universe. NXT is its own brand, energy, and life. One thing he found out very quickly is the NXT Universe is crazy. NXT is the crowd’s style. Nakamura will always be NXT cause we are NXT! YEOH!
The NXT locker room walks out on the stage to show their respect for Nakamura. Nakamura doesn’t see them at first, but when he turns around and notices they have all come out to the stage he says mouths thank you to the NXT superstars. Nakamura walks up the ramp and bows to Regal and shakes a few hands. Finn Bálor walks out and hugs Nakamura.
