TJ Perkins vs. Gentlemen Jack Gallagher
Cruiserweight Champion Neville is seen watching this match from a monitor in the back. They lock up and Gallagher takes the advantage with a side headlock, dropping down to the mat. Perkins takes the headlock over but Gallagher just does a handspring out of it, having a little fun. He goes immediately into a wrist lock, which Perkins counters with a tilt-the-whirl head stant into a leg scissors takedown, which Gallagher again reverses into his own leg scissors. Perkins repeatedly tries to flip out of the move, but the Gentlemen maintains control every time. TJ with a little showboating of his own, finally spinning out of the hold, rolling to the floor to take a breather. Jack gets his umbrella and looks to fly off the top rope, but TJ just walks away up the ramp and says shakes his head “no”. Gallagher mocks the “dab” in the ring which – because apparently it’s really important to him as a human being – sends TJ into a state of rage, rushing the ring and running into a mule kick.
After getting schooled for the majority of the match, Perkins finally gets an advantage by attacking his opponent from behind and kicking away on Gallagher’s legs. He hits a kick a little too south of the border, and follows up with a barrage of rights and lefts in the ropes. He slaps on a leglock and continues to pull him to the center of the ring, bringing the hold just to keep stomping on his legs. Perkins hits a vertical suplexs and transitions into a back suplex for two, then continues his assault on the legs and knees of his opponent. Gallagher finds his second win and hits a series of uppercuts followed by a gutwrench slam. Both guys are down, but it’s Perkins who gets up first and hits a springboard spinning forearm. They fight back and forth to the top turnbuckle, and Gallagher connects with a super back suplex for a very close nearfall.
Slowly both guys get back to their feet. Perkins hits a huge spinning neckbreaker for two-and-a-half. Gallagher gets thrown to the floor and Perkins tries for a Golden Triangle Moonsault, but lands on the apron and Gallagher kills him with a hard headbutt straight to the skull. After rolling back into the ring they trade kicking combinations, and Gallagher hits another big headbutt to take them both down. He tries for a running dropkick, but a combination of the knee damage and the headbutts forces him to collapse. Perkins takes advantage and throws him head-first into the post, then nails the Detonation Kick for the win.
Winner: TJ Perkins
– After the match, Perkins celebrates on the ramp and Neville comes out to raise his hand. The two celebrate on the ramp as Gallagher looks on, barely alive, in the middle of the ring.
