In Ring Segment: Mick Foley

Mick pulls a prepared statement out of his pocket. Foley says he stands before us all as a humble man. He personally would like to thank Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. He thanks them both for this opportunity. He clearly put his position in jeopardy. Foley doesn’t want to distract from the road to WrestleMania. This isn’t about his problems with the McMahons. For the good of the company and everyone involved, effective immediately he will be taking a leave of absence. Foley holds up his speech. After 31 years all they can do give him index cards? A few seconds before he comes out Triple H has the nerve to give him index cards? He is Mick Freaking Foley. As Mick starts to speak, his mic keeps cutting out.

Stephanie McMahon’s music hits and she walks to the ring. Stephanie says she gave him a golden opportunity to be the GM. She also gave him a chance to give his farewell address, but he screwed that up too. They had to give him index cards because he screws up every line he is given. This isn’t about the locker room, or WrestleMania it’s about Foley and his need to be liked. Stephanie has been wanting to say this to Foley for a long time: I got two words for ya, you’re fired! As Foley leaves the ring, Sami Zayn walks out on the stage. Zayn says that what Stephanie is doing to Foley is wrong. Everything she has done as of late has been wrong but no one is willing to tell her to her face. Zayn joins Foley on the apron. Stephanie thanks Zayn for his lesson in morality. Stephanie tells Zayn to help his broken down mentor to the back.
