The Rock Posts More Backstage WWE Raw Photos with Samoa Joe & Others

As noted, The Rock took to Instagram and posted a photo of WWE Raw Women’s Champion Bayley, and he has subsequently posted the following photos of other WWE stars he met during his visit to Raw while shooting “Fighting with My Family”:

Great shot captured on the low by our @sevenbucksprod producer @hhgarcia41. An hour before she performs LIVE on RAW, my cousin @niajaxwwe stopped by my dressing room so she can rehearse her match and promo to me before she goes out there. Always fun to “take the creative scalpel” and fine tune everything moments before the show. She’s doing an outstanding job considering she’s still just getting started in the WWE. We don’t talk about greatness right now. We just concentrate on putting in the hard work to get better every day, never getting dragged down in backstage politics and most important – making progress. Progress is all we want. Greatness will come. It’s scary (and a marketers dream) to think how physically and mentally dominant she can become in the WWE’s Women’s Division. Rare qualities. No rush. Good to take some time to chop it up w/ The Queen @charlottewwe about career and future endeavors. Our dads used to wrestle each other when we all lived in Charlotte and now here we are backstage incapable of smiling normally for pictures. What a trailblazer she’s become for the ever growing and awesome Women’s Division, by taking that brass ring to places it’s never been. Great chick. Bad ass. One of my fav things about the crazy world of pro wrestling and the WWE has always been the colorful, fun and extreme characters it produces. I’ve always liked this one, Enzo Amore. I told him backstage the thing that always comes across with his character, is that he loves to engage and entertain the fans. Ultimately that’s what every wrestling fan wants and why they buy their ticket. Keep up the great work brotha and I ‘preciate your kinds words and I’m honored to have had an influence on your career and style. Thanks for the story about you and your pops. Been following this man’s wrestling career for years now. I’m very happy to see him (finally) in the WWE making a global name for himself. Many wrestling and fight historians will attest to this, that at one time in 1970’s, pro wrestlers were some of the biggest and toughest men on the planet. Well before UFC and MMA made its worldwide footprint, there was a hard core wrestling style derived from “Catch wrestling” which then spawned lots of shoot styles in wrestling training. Samoa Joe reminds me of that rare legit tough MF throwback style of wrestler. Happy for him and his family. It’s his time. He’s earned it and one day we’ll be referring to him as WWE World Champ. In the video below, WWE Raw star Dana Brooke performs a fitness routine at the 2017 Arnold Classic:

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
