NXT Champion Bobby Roode vs No Way Jose
Roode grabs a side headlock. Roode takes Jose over and paintbrushes him. Roode tells Jose that he is Glorious. Jose and Roode lock up again. Roode locks in a wrist lock. Jose turns it into a dance move. Roode unwittingly joins in. When Roode realizes what is he is doing, he tries to deck Jose. Jose blocks it and nails Roode. Roode stumbles into the corner. Jose lands a few strikes. Drop toe hold by Jose. Jose rides Roode’s back, before standing up and dancing. Roode plants Jose with a spine buster.
After a short break, Roode nails a clubbing blow off the top rope. Jose crawls to the ropes. Roode chokes Jose in the ropes before stomping him out. Suplex by Roode leads to another two count. Roode locks in a deep rear chin lock. Jose tries to fight out of it. Jose picks up Roode for the TKO, but Roode fights out of that. Jose lands a few jabs. Roode kicks Jose in the gut and calls for the Glorious DDT. Jose reverses it and hits a full nelson slam for a long two count. Jose revs up for the knockout punch. Roode counters, but gets sent into the corner. Roode mounts the second rope. Roode dives off, but Jose obliterates him with a knockout punch. Roode falls out of the ring. Jose goes to the outside and tosses Roode back into the ring. As Jose gets back into the ring, Roode pops up and hits the Glorious DDT for the win.

After the match, Roode chop blocks Jose. Roode slaps on a single leg crab. Kassius Ohno hits the ring and chases Roode off. Roode grabs a mic and asks Ohno who the hell he thinks he is coming down to the ring and interrupting the champion. Ohno says he thinks the NXT Universe knows who he is, and Roode knows who he is. His name is Kassius Ohno and he ain’t nothing to mess with. Ohno says he has been here before. As he has traveled the world he has reached out and taken everything he has wanted. Ohno has unfinished business in NXT and Roode has what he wants- the NXT Championship. Roode sheds some fake tears and says that was a heart-wrenching story. Unfortunately for Mr. Ohno, if that is his real name, he is dealing with a fighting champion. Roode says he we can do this right here and right now. Roode tells Ohno to take off his coat so they can go to work. Ohno turns to take off his coat, Roode chop blocks him from behind. Ohno fights back and sends Roode to the outside after multiple elbows and a clothesline.
