Backstage, Andrade “Cien” Almas says something in Spanish about Roderick Strong. Almas then says he is going to kick Strong in the face when he sees him. Strong interrupts and says he isn’t a hard man to find. If Almas is going to kick him in the face he can do it now. Almas walks away. Strong starts to speak but Almas blindsides him and beats him down. Just to add insult to injury, Almas then kicks Strong in the face.
No Way Jose vs Kona Reeves
Jose goes behind Reeves. Reeves reverses it. Jose grinds on him… for some reason. Reeves pulls away, utterly mortified, as anybody would be. Reeves surprises Jose with a thumb to the throat. Jose fires up and lands a few punches. Jose miffs on a leap frog, which allows Reeves to catch him and hit a running Samoan drop. Reeves stands on Jose’s back and poses as if Jose is a surfboard. Reeves slaps on an abdominal stretch. Jose reverses it into an arm drag. Reeves retreats to the corner. Jose charges at him, but Reeves gets his boot up. Reeves dives at Jose, but Jose moves and Reeves gets caught up in the ropes. Jose jabs Reeves over and over. Flapjack by Jose. Jose hits the pop-up punch for the win.
Winner- No Way Jose
After the match, Elias Samson comes out on the ramp and sings Jose a song. Jose cuts him off and sings that Samson should just drift away. Samson gets on the apron, but Jose knocks him off.
