WWE Royal Rumble Kickoff Notes: 

– The panel for tonight’s kickoff show is Renee Young and WWE Hall of Famers Booker T, Jerry Lawler and Shawn Michaels. Shawn is happy to be home. Shawn reflects on his experience at the Alamodome.

– Charly Carusso is in the Social Media Lounge. Dean Ambrose will be the special guest. Send in questions using the hashtag #AskAmbrose.

– Peter Rosenberg from ESPN Cheap Heat and Hot 97! is outside of the Alamodome in the middle of the WWE Universe.

– The panel talks about Seth Rollins invading NXT Takeover San Antonio. Triple H says that Rollins should be careful what he wishes for. There’s a difference between a creator and the destroyer.

– We get a video package highlighting the history of the Royal Rumble Match.

– Renee runs down the card for the Rumble Kickoff Show.

– We see a flashback video of Shawn Michaels winning the 1995 Royal Rumble Match.

– The panel talks about the significance of winning the Rumble Match. Booker says that you have to weather the storm during these type of matches. Shawn talks about his thought process being the number one entrant in the Rumble Match.

– The panel begins to preview the Raw Women’s Championship Match between Charlotte Flair and Bayley. Booker, Jerry and Shawn is going with Charlotte to retain. Shawn says that Charlotte shouldn’t under estimate Bayley.

– Rosenberg walks down the massive ramp going over the rules of the Royal Rumble Match. We see a flashback of Edge coming back from injury and winning the 2010 Rumble Match.
