Backstage, Mick Foley is talking to Stephanie McMahon on the phone. Stephanie questions why Foley gave Reigns his rematch for the U.S. title tonight. Foley says he granted it because they needed a marquee match while the are right here… in Cleveland Ohio. Sami Zayn walks in and asks how does he go about announce the fact that he is going to be in the Royal Rumble. Foley starts to tell him that because he is Sami Zayn he doesn’t have to ask or announce it. Stephanie says Zayn has to earn his way into the Royal Rumble by defeating Seth Rollins tonight. Stephanie tells Foley to take her off speaker phone. Foley says that he doesn’t agree with what she is saying but he will go tell Rollins right now.
During an interview with Corey Graves, Bayley says she is still blown away by the fact that she is in the WWE right now. Graves asks if she has any idea why Charlotte Flair keeps bringing up Bayley’s fandom as a negative. Bayley says he would have to ask Charlotte why that is. Graves asks how does she feel about the amazing connection she has with the WWE fans. Bayley says she can’t describe the feeling that it gives her to hug fans and so forth. It makes her think she can do anything. Graves adds is if anything includes beating Charlotte for the WWE Raw Women’s championship. Bayley responds that with two victories under her belt over Charlotte, she has faith that she can defeat her this Sunday for the title.
