EB: I am excited to hear about that. Kurt’s such an amazing guy. We could dedicate an entire episode just to Kurt Angle. Set aside for the moment what he accomplished. Winning a gold medal in the 1996 Olympics with, “a broken freaking neck,” as he’ll remind us. The way he was able to transition in to sports entertainment at such a high level is amazing in it of itself. But one of the things that I love so much about Kurt Angle is he can be the most dangerous, realistic, threatening character with so much credibility on Monday and by Tuesday he can turn that around and be one of the most comedic, entertaining, funny characters on television. He can spin that on a dime. That takes a tremendous amount of skill. I think Kurt has been through so much and deserves to be in the WWE Hall of Fame. Not only for what he’s accomplished as an amateur wrestler. (Laughs) I have a hard time referring to Olympic wrestlers as amateurs. As an Olympic wrestler and a sports entertainer he’s overcome a lot of challenges and that’s what I admire most about him to be honest with you.
